Former Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission Joins Inteliquent’s Board

CHICAGO — Inteliquent, a leading provider of communications services, announced today the appointment of Reed Hundt to the company’s board of directors.

Reed is a principal of REH Advisors LLC, a strategic advice firm in Washington, D.C. and the founder and CEO of the Coalition for Green Capital, a non-profit focused on promoting the transition to clean energy through innovative banking and financing solutions. He served four years as chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from 1993 to 1997, where he was instrumental in the implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, and was a member of President Obama’s transition team from 2008 to 2009. Today, Mr. Hundt serves on the boards of a number of leading technology companies, including Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC), a leading manufacturer of semiconductor chips, and Smart Sky Networks, a communications network firm.
