DO NOT CALL LIST

Inteliquent is not a telemarketer and does not provide or use telemarketing services.

Inteliquent provides wholesale telecommunications services, including telephone numbers, to other telecommunications carriers, service providers and resellers who use those services to provide their own wholesale or retail telecommunications services.

In some cases, our customers may provide services to telemarketing companies. As a wholesale provider, we have no direct relationship with these telemarketing companies and we cannot prevent telemarketers from contacting consumers.

The federal Do Not Call registry was established to assist consumers who do not wish to receive telemarketing sales calls. It is the responsibility of telemarketing companies to abide by the Do Not Call rules.

Inteliquent takes all complaints concerning the use of its services seriously, including potential violations of the Do Not Call rules. Although we are unable to directly address the matter, when we receive a complaint concerning Do Not Call list abuse, we will promptly notify our customer of the complaint and advise them to investigate and quickly resolve the issue.

Our customer will not be able to investigate any complaint unless the following information is provided:

  1. The Calling Number;
  2. The Number Called; and
  3. The Date and Time of the Call.

Further information concerning the Do Not Call registry is available at www.donotcall.gov .

TIPS TO HELP PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SCAMMERS:

  1. The IRS does not call and demand payment for unpaid taxes with an iTunes or other prepaid card. If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS who instructs you to make such a payment, hang up immediately. More information concerning IRS scams is available at https://www.irs.gov/uac/newsroom/irs-repeats-warning-about-phone-scams.
  2. Never pay to collect a prize relating to a sweepstakes or prize promotion. Requiring a payment in order to collect a prize is a violation of federal law.
  3. Never give out sensitive personal or financial information over the phone unless it is to a known and trusted entity. Doctor’s offices, banks and other service providers will never call and ask for your account information.
  4. If you receive a message containing a callback number, verify the number against a known source such as the back of your bank card before returning the call.
  5. Generally, banks and financial institutions do not send texts messages requesting sensitive information such as bank account numbers, passwords or social security numbers. If you receive such a text, do not respond and call your bank or financial institution.
  6. When in doubt, do not answer a phone call from an unknown number.
