For calls associated with valid addresses, Inteliquent identifies the destination PSAP based on the caller’s address. The call is then routed to the correct 9-1-1 Selective Router serving the destination PSAP, providing the user’s address and call-back number to the PSAP when requested.
In the event of an invalid address, Inteliquent routes the call to a third-party managed call center where call center agents will verbally validate the user’s location with the caller. The call is then routed to the correct PSAP.
